Founded in 2013, Consumer Advocate Resolution Center (C.A.R.C.) was created with one mission in mind to protect and empower consumers.
For over a decade, we have stood in the gap for individuals and families facing inaccurate reporting, aggressive collection practices, and unfair tactics that threaten their financial future.

We understand that behind every credit report is a real person with real goals like: buying  home, securing business funding, purchasing reliable transportation, and building long-term
financial stability. At C.A.R.C., we are Consumer Advocates first. Our focus is on identifying and challenging the actions of bad actors who violate consumer protection laws and create unnecessary barriers to opportunity. We believe that when consumers
are properly informed and legally protected, they regain control of their financial path.

The Mission of Consumer Advocate Resolution Center (C.A.R.C) is to become a safe haven for consumers dealing with companies that are blatantly disregarding policies and procedures, not to mention the Laws that govern them, C.A.R.C wants to expose as much of this as possible, how these large companies take advantage of consumers, but we as consumers, we have to do our part, we have to better understand what where getting into. The information today is no longer in the “FINE PRINT”, it’s in our faces, this is where C.A.R.C come into play to ensure to the best of our ability that the rights of the consumers are being met. C.A.R.C has a way of revealing to consumers the possibilities of resolving adverse actions against you, while educating you on the law and how the LAW can work in your favor today and in the future.

About Our Founder

Ken LaMothe is a Credit and Consumer Advocate with over 20 years of experience focused on protecting consumer rights through education, strategy, and informed advocacy. He spent more than 13 years in mortgage default servicing, serving in supervisory roles with two of the nation’s largest financial institutions. Today, Ken is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in credit resolution, contractual disputes, and consumer protection law, including the FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, and applicable Texas state laws. His career has been defined by a commitment to helping consumers and professionals navigate complex credit and compliance matters with clarity and confidence.

Guided by the principle “Applied Knowledge Is Power,” Ken leads the Consumer Advocate Resolution Center (C.A.R.C.), where he works with consumers, business owners, real estate professionals, and mortgage professionals.
